Sculpture

You know it is a great day when a student yells "hello Miss. Stewart" at you before you even get in the school and when the first thing the students say to you is "I wish you could come everyday".

The students made sculptures out of modeling clay today. First we had a lesson on what sculpture is, what 3D means, what materials can be used to make a sculpture, and we talked about different ancient sculptures. I loved the sculptures the students made. They were all very unique and creative.
Here are some pictures!

  1. I think your students' enthusiastic response to your teaching says a lot about the quality of your relationship with them. Nice work! Also, in this last picture: was this a pros/cons activity you did with your students or with Mrs. Keele? Either way, I'm glad that you're reflecting on what went well and what could be improved about your teaching.
